Begin by taking your seat
Which is said to be like a mountain
Broad at the base
Rooted in the earth
Rising up into the heavens
360° view
Radiating your ancient heritage
Feel the ground rising up to support you
Allow your body to relax
Inhale awareness into the body
As you exhale
Let any tension grow heavy and melt into the earth
After a few tension-releasing breaths
Continuing to inhale awareness into the body
Continuing to release tension
Physical tension
Also how we hold our mind
Mental tension
Shock held in the viscera
Frozen in the blood
Let it melt and drain into the earth
This is an offering
The Earth is a buddha
Buddha Lochana
This is an offering of energy
Feeding the earth
In turn, fresh energy rises from the earth
Into your body
Pause and feel
Fresh, nourishing energy rising into your body
Dark and fertile
This is grounding
Becoming fully and deeply here and now
The past and future spin out of this moment
Everything is here
Held in gentle and spacious awareness
Not limited to this body
Everything is arising and falling away
Allow the freshness to permeate your being
Even your oh so tender heart
Remain as long as you like
Come back any time
The earth is the big body
She loves our sacred offerings
Finish with a bow.
As you move through your day
Touch into this open exchange of energy
Reconnect often
Say, “I remember.”
